ABOUT ME

Draycan Kennels began with my first Saint Bernard in 1989.  I have bred and titled over 42 Australian Champions, including 32 homebred, plus 4 homebred Australian Grand Champions and 4 Neuter Champions, also Obedience Companion Dog titled several Saints and Australia's only Agility titled Saint Bernard.  I have also competed in Endurance trials with a St Bernard.  We have consistently produced some of the top winning Saints in the country.  Awards too numerous to list but include Best In Show All Breeds, Best In Show Specialty, Best in Show Open, Best of Breed Royals and Multiple Best in Group, Runner Up, Class In Group and In Show Awards.

Our Saints have featured in TV, newspapers and promotional events.  We have people lining up for their second and third Saints from us which is an incredible honour and I find very touching.  Our Cavaliers came later as my daughter wanted to hold the Saints when she was three years old at the ring.  I looked for a smaller dog for her that would not be daunted by the larger dogs and found the Cavalier.  She just enjoys the Cavaliers at home.

I have been involved in all breeds, breed and dog training clubs.  My work as a Pet Health Nutrition Advisor and Sales Executive for a super premium pet food company keeps me extremely busy and I am very happy to be able to combine my work with my passion of breeding and showing dogs.

I am a licensed Group 6 Utility, Group 7 Non Sporting & Group 1 Toys ANKC Championship Show Judge and am currently licensed to judge Group 5 Working, Group 2 Terriers & Group 3 Gundogs at ANKC Open Shows.

As custodians of these breeds we take the breeding of our dogs very seriously with the planning of each litter and raising of the puppies.  We do not believe you can cut corners or costs in anyway with the breeding and upkeep of these dogs. Our puppies are available to selected Pet homes on LIMITED PAPERS and  Show homes may apply for a dog.

We make a difference producing, happy, healthy, sound Saint Bernards and Cavaliers.
